Request an invoice below by submitting the request form. This will provide you with all of the details, start date, price, etc. You will need this to enter it into your CA request via your miliatry branches COOL portal.

Submit Credentialing Assistance Request
Submit Credentialing Assistance Request to your military branch via thier COOL website. It can take 45 days for funding and approval.

Once approved and funded, you will recieve an email with access to your program and you can start!

What is the Army COOL program?
The Army Credentialing Opportunities On-Line (COOL) program is designed to assist Army service members in obtaining civilian certifications and licenses that enhance their skills and prepare them for military career advancement or transition to civilian employment.
How does Army Credentialing Assistance (CA) work?
The Army CA program offers up to $4,000 per fiscal year for courses and exams that lead to industry-recognized civilian credentials. This funding can be used for various expenses, including training courses, exam fees, and study guides and materials.
Who is eligible for the Army COOL program?
- Regular Army: Active duty soldiers in the regular Army.
- Active Guard/Reserve (AGR): Soldiers serving under Title 10 and Title 32.
- U.S. Army Reserve (USAR): Soldiers in active duty or drilling status.
- Army National Guard (ARNG): Soldiers in active drilling status who are designated as satisfactory.
The program is open to all ranks, including enlisted personnel, warrant officers, and commissioned officers. However, commissioned officers (CW2, 2LT, and above) must agree to serve a military service obligation for certain uses of Credentialing Assistance (CA) funding.
Eligible soldiers must complete Basic Combat Training (BCT) to qualify for CA funding.

Yes, soldiers are allowed to pursue multiple credentials, either simultaneously or sequentially, as long as they meet eligibility requirements. However, each certification must have a separate credential request submitted for approval.
